Job Description

We are looking for a CAD Designer / CNC Programmer/Setter proficient in joinery design & solid works. The role will involve creating drawings and programs for our in-house CNC Machines.

The CAD Designer role involves working with other designers, customers and our joiners so good communication skills and being able to develop relationships is key. Good knowledge of joinery is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Managing Software; Solidworks, Sketchup and Biesse Works
  • Programming/setting CNC machine
  • Improving with redesign on existing projects
  • Working with Joiners to agree improvements in design for build of furniture
  • Work closely with the Production Managers to ensure efficient running of the workshop and meeting deadlines.

  • Experience with CNC Machines
  • Biesse Works experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • Must have SolidWorks experience
  • AutoCAD experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • Sketchup experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • Willing to take part in further training to improve personal and company skills & efficiency

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm. (The ability to work outside of std ours if required)

Salary: Competitive salary offered depending on experience.
